My husband and I booked a private e-bike tour with TuscanyByTom for our honeymoon after reading all of the amazing Google reviews—and we can absolutely confirm that the positive reviews are right! We would recommend Tom to anyone visiting Tuscany. From the very beginning, Tom was incredibly communicative over both email and WhatsApp. He met us right at our hotel in Panzano in Chianti with our e-bikes completely ready to go (which made it SO easy), along with cold waters and helmets for us. Before we started, he took plenty of time to explain how to safely use the bikes, demonstrate everything, and walk us through the type of terrain we would encounter. Tom knew that we were intermediate bikers and suggested a route based on our experience level, which ended up being perfect. We went on an amazing three-hour loop through the Tuscan countryside and saw some of the most beautiful scenery we have ever seen. Along the way, he took us through a beautiful old medieval village, shared so many interesting facts and pieces of history about the area, and happily answered all of our questions. It made the ride feel like both an incredible bike tour and a personal tour of Tuscany. One of our favorite parts was how happy Tom was to take plenty of photos and videos of us throughout the ride, getting some awesome shots of US while WE were biking! It was so special to have those afterward to share with our friends and family and to remember such an incredible day on our honeymoon. We also stopped along the way for coffee and pastries. He is an expert on the area and we had a blast. Tom also went completely above and beyond for us after the tour. We were heading into Florence that day, and he offered to drive us there himself. He even made sure we had time to go back to our hotel and shower and get ready before we left. It was SO beyond helpful and thoughtful, and just another example of how genuinely kind and accommodating he is. Beyond being a fantastic guide, Tom is truly the kindest, sweetest, most genuine person. He was extremely safety-focused while still making sure the entire experience was relaxed, personal, and so much fun. We felt completely taken care of from beginning to end. This was truly one of the highlights of our honeymoon and such an incredible way to experience Chianti. If you are considering booking with TuscanyByTom, do it!! Tom is a great guy. He is well prepared, entertaining, kind and fun. We did an e-bike tour of Chianti last week and we felt like we really got a local experience. The e-bikes were new, clean, safe and powerful enough to make some of the off-roading and very hilly terrain effortless. Tom was a pleasure to talk to and we hope we stay in touch with him. An absolutely incredible experience, where do I even start. On very short notice Tom organised us a pasta making class, and at a very reasonable price too. We didn't know what to expect, but we were blown away by the friendliness and hospitality of our host kitchen at Musignano Agriturismo, they were all a great laugh. Little did we know before we arrived, that we would get a private cooking lesson, followed by our own creations being served to us for dinner a few hours later which was such a great end to our experience. Our only regret is that we didn't find Tom sooner to book more experiences with him while we were in Tuscany. Would highly recommend.
